Max’s research has resulted in five patents:

1. Calcium sequestration and dialysis
2. Concrete recycling
3. Calcium extraction
4. Mitigation of persistent harmful compounds
5. Calcium precipitation and sequestration system

His work has also led to to the creation of Cybele Technology. He presented this work at i3 lab demo day at WPI and won the i3 Lab award.

Maddie defended her thesis “The Role of PLCβ in C. elegans Health and Neuron Function” on April 28, 2025. Maddie is currently working for Thomas Scientific.

Guanyu defended his thesis “Functional and Structural Study of Phospholipase Cβ1 in Neuronal Differentiation and RNA Interference” on August 21, 2025. He is currently working as a post-doc at the University of Michigan.
